P.O. Box 1212, Boulder, Colorado, to vary the
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance so as to permit the reduction
of the rear yard setback from the required 25 feet to 21 feet
zero inches on a residence within the City of Louisville, Colorado
known as 655 W. Hawthorne Street, owner, Lone Pine Builders Inc.
And is more particulary described as Lot 29, Mesa Point Subdivision.
And all persons in any manner interested in this proposed variation
to the City of Louisville Zoning Ordinance are requested to attend
the Public Hearing and we're glad that you are here. You have
requested, I understand there are troubles, that there are people
who are not in favor of this property being set back. I would like
to invite anyone who has anything to say on this in the negative,
please rise.

My name is Jack Knott, and I live at 641 Hawthorne, property adjacent
to the property in question, I have objections to this particular
setback, my message is very simple. From my own personal property
standpoint, it is a view obstructing structure, and it is also in
violation of the convenance in that particular area. There are also
some other people present at this meeting who are from that area, and
we feel like the convenance of the area should be enforced, and that
the codes should be enforced.

Davies:

Thank you, now someone else.

Mr. Chairman, Don Ross here, one question, is it Mr. Knott?

Knott: Yes.

Ross: You said something about a view obstructing a view, could you
explain that a little bit further to us please?

Knott: I can illustrate it for you, I have some photographs here.
(Mr. Knott showed some photographs of the house and view obstruction.)
This is the view past the rear of my house.

Davies:

This picture in particular is the east end of your house?

Knott: From the east to the west

Davies: Thank you.
