Now what happens
got to go back and do what?

from the rear setback,
if we deny this? Then

Ferris: They have to redesign the house and move what's existing and
in conformance to the requirements.

Reed: Steve I have a question. On any projections other than the
foundation into the setbacks what are the City building requirements
as to those projections as cantelevers or roof overhangs?

Ferris: Cantelevers are considered a part of the structure so they
would have to meet the requirements of the book as far as the 25 foot
rear yard setback, archetectural projections such as chimneys, or
stemwalls roof overhangs can project three feet into the required
yard.

Reed: Three feet into the setback?

Ferris: That is correct.

Davies: And in regards the view, I think we only have two views here,
the prairies to the east and the mountains on the west. And you
have gotten just about as high as you can get and still be in Louis-
ville. To get a view of the mountains and the prairies, if you can
see that far, but I have noticed, but I have noticed one thing that
possibly might have crossed your minds, and it struck me so harshly
that I had to go down to the engineers and get them to take a map and
draw a line because it was thought that your biggest quarrel was here
that your going to block my view of Long's Peak which is a good view.
So they took their measuring stick and they found Long's Peak and
you probably saw that I was up there on two occasions looking the
thing over and using boards to cut off four feet of the end of the
foundation forms, but when drawing a line from the picture window I
imagine it is the kitchen window but it doesn't make any difference,
the picture window on the rear of 641 Hawthorne Street to Long's Peak
I found that the first house on west Ash Street which is one block to
the north and on the corner, when that house is built, this pencil
line between the house on 641 and Long's Peak cuts the middle of the
house absolutely perfect. So if you must see Long's Peak, I'm afraid
your going to have to get up on the roof or get yourself a tall
ladder. Regarding this, the injury to the man, nobody can feel more
sorry. Nor can I let that take any precedence over this meeting. I do
believe that the four feet that the people at 641 Hawthorne are
