Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 2024 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />The Authority instructed the Secretary to send a letter to the licensee <br />letting them know that no action will be taken on the renewal until the <br />sales tax account is brought current. <br />B. Open Government Training <br />The required Open Government Training was presented by Authority <br />Attorney Melinda Gulley. <br />8. Police Department Report <br />None <br />9. Secretary's Report <br />A. The Secretary received 10 Modifications of Premises for the <br />patio program this summer. All applications have been sent to <br />the state and four permits were issued earlier in the day. <br />There are still two outstanding patios to be delivered and the <br />Secretary is hopeful it will be determined the business to <br />receive those patios soon. <br />B. The Secretary let the Authority know that due to a delay in the <br />planning process for the Chamber Dinner on May 31 and the <br />Taste of Louisville on June 1, and there being no LLA meeting <br />in May, the Secretary will be administratively approving the <br />liquor permits for those two events. <br />The Authority instructed the Secretary to send a letter to the <br />Chamber giving them a deadline next year for the permits to be <br />considered during the March meeting. The Authority suggested <br />the letter be sent now and a reminder sent in December 2024 <br />or January 2025. <br />10. Authority Attorney's Report <br />None <br />11. Authority Comments <br />Carlson informed the other members of an email from 12 Degree brewing <br />urging an email campaign to Council regarding closing Main Street. As the <br />issue had already been decided by Council, the Authority acknowledged <br />they had no standing in the matter. <br />12. Discussion Items for Next Meeting — June 24, 2023 at 6:30pm <br />The Secretary noted that this will be an in -person meeting. <br />13. Adjournment <br />Seeing no other business, Lipton moved to adjourn the meeting and <br />Carlson seconded. The meeting adjourned at 7:10 PM. <br />
