CITY OF LOUISVILLE June 10, 1991 BOARD OF ADJUSlMENT MEETING MINUIES The City of Louisville Board of Adjustment met in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Stsreet, Louisville, Colorado. Chairman Ray Sears called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and the following persons were present: Board Members: Ray Sears Steve Pendergrast Neil Tillquist Allan Fyne Staff Present: Paul Wood, Senior Planner Absent: Dan Swires Robert Ross Also Present: David Eisenstein, Attorney Chris and Marla Martoglio Lowell and Beverly Campbell Terry Ludtke (neighbor) Bob Humphreys (neighbor) Lynn Mertz (neighbor) Chairman Sears: We have one small order of business to take care of here that we didn't take care of at the last meeting and that is the election of the Vice Chairman to a one year term and we can either do that tonight or we can contine it on to the next meeting. (Steve Pendergrast was elected Vice Chairman) Sears: I will now open the public hearing and explain to all here tonight that this Board consists of five members, four of which constitute a quorum for the purpose of conducting business and for all other purposes. The concurring Board of four members shall be required to approve matters before the Board. As is the case tonight, we only have four members of the Board present and, so the applicant has the right to ask for the public hearing to be continued, if that would be your pleasure, until the entire Board is present or we can proceed with the public hearing. So, our first order of business tonight is an application for a variance to a height restriction on a privacy fence. Public notice on this is hereby given. A public hearing will be held before the Louisville Board of Adjustment for consideration of the following ordinance, or variance, a variance to Section 17.16.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code which restricts the placement of a six foot privacy fence in front yard setbacks.
