Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />September 18, 2024 <br />Page 8of8 <br />Commissioner Harald commented that he has attended, and the quality of the dialogue is good. <br />Downtown Business Association Updates: <br />Commissioner Williams provided an update from the last DBA meeting. <br />Chamber of Commerce Updates: <br />Jillian Miller from the Louisville Chamber of Commerce gave an update on the Chamber of <br />Commerce. There is a networking event happening on September 25 at Rocky Mountain Tap <br />and Garden and Ms. Miller invited everyone to attend. The Chamber has an upcoming golf <br />tournament and next month they will be launching the 2025 calendar. <br />Discussion Items for Future Meetings: <br />1. Executive Session for Property Acquisition <br />2. Fagade Improvement Program Applications <br />Commissioner Closing Comments: <br />Commissioner Lipton asked staff for a final update on Street Faire. The EV Manager will provide <br />this information at the next meeting. <br />Commissioner Tofte commented that there are two large housing projects that will likely come to <br />the LRC soon. <br />Chair Adler asked staff to let the LRC know what date is chosen for the Downtown Vision Plan <br />presentation to Council <br />Commissioner Harald asked if the LRC would be able to review the letter of recommendation <br />before it is provided to Council. The EV Manager responded that the letter will be sent to Chair <br />Adler for final approval and signature before being provided to Council. Chair Adler asked if she <br />could get feedback or should just review and sign the letter. The Attorney to the LRC responded <br />that the intent is for the Chair to review and sign, noting that getting feedback will create a <br />concern that the LRC is having a meeting that is not a meeting. <br />Adjourn: Commissioner Williams made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Tofte seconded. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:29 a.m. <br />
