09148/2000 03: 3TP <br /> Boulder County Clerk, CO RESOLUTION R 15,00 O 0,00 <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did not have the necessary two-thirds vote of the full <br />membership of the Commission as required by §17.64.030 to formally recommend approval of the <br />amendment, with four of the seven Commission members voting in favor and none against; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments and finds <br />them to be consistent with the goals, policies and intent of the existing Comprehensive Plan and consistent <br />with the criteria for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan listed in §17.64.070 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no downtown-related amendment to the Comprehensive Plan has been reviewed by <br />City Council in several years; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing, a two-thirds majority of the full membership of the <br />Louisville City Council finds that the Downtown Louisville Framework Plan should be approved as an <br />amendment and update to the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby confirms and incorporates the foregoing recitals into this Resolution <br />as findings of fact. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Downtown Louisville Framework Plan, dated 2 March 1999, and the accompanying <br />appendices, maps, illustrations and exhibits are hereby adopted by reference and approved as <br />an amendment and update to the City of Louisville Comprehensive Plan. A complete copy <br />of such Plan is attached hereto as Exhibit 'A' and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The Downtown Louisville Framework Plan applies to areas generally described as the <br />Downtown areas that are presently zoned C-C (Commercial Community) and C-B <br />(Commercial Business), and surrounding residential influence areas, as more particularly <br />depicted on Exhibit 'B', attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of March 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />To~n ]~avidson~-M~'~;~r- <br />City of Louisville, Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />
