Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />November 20, 2024 <br />Page 5of7 <br />Commissioner Williams commented that she is comfortable approving a not to exceed amount. <br />Commissioner Tofte commented that he agrees with the $80,000 amount of support. <br />Commissioner Harald agreed with the $80,000 amount of support. <br />Public Comment: <br />Mike Kranzdorf, not a resident of louisville, commented that this is about half of the facade <br />improvement program budget for 2025 and asked if the commission would consider a budget <br />amendment to increase the program budget if other <br />Eric reed, resident and chamber board member commented that he fully endorses anyone <br />applying and also expressed concern with the amount of this request due to the 2025 budget. <br />Commissioner Feedback on Top Three Work Plan Priorities <br />The Economic Vitality (EV) Manager requested feedback from the commission on the top three <br />work plan priorities for 2025-2026. Staff intends to bring the work plan before the LRC in <br />December for discussion and asked each commissioner to share their top three priorities for the <br />next two years. <br />Commissioner Comments: <br />Chair Adler asked the commission to go around the room and comment on their 2025 priorities. <br />Commissioner Iglesias is excited about the Vision Plan and companies like Ironton and other <br />new businesses coming to town. Her priorities are the Vision Plan, Facade Improvement <br />Program, and attracting new businesses to the downtown area. <br />Commissioner Lipton's priorities are the Vision Plan, to work collaboratively with property and <br />business owners to develop a positive business climate that encourages private investment in <br />the URA, and review Land Use codes applicable to the URA and consider recommendations for <br />changes that would potentially improve the redevelopment and economic vitality of the district. <br />Commissioner Williams' priorities are the Vision Plan, downtown vacancies, and Property <br />Improvement and Facade Improvement programs. <br />Commissioner Tofte's priorities are the Vision Plan, making progress on DELO east and <br />infrastructure and the Coal Creek Village Station implementation, and downtown vacancies, <br />specifically the Wildwood building. <br />Commissioner Harald's priorities are the Vision Plan, Facade and Property improvement <br />programs, and supporting existing businesses. <br />Mayor Leh's priorities are the Vision Plan and inviting investments into our community. <br />Commissioner Lipton made comments related to last night's Vision Plan meeting and what role <br />the LRC is expected to play in the process. He asked the Mayor to respond. Mayor Leh <br />responded with his understanding of what the LRC's role is intended to be and he asked staff to <br />
