Annual maintenance on those rights is approximately 200k per <br />year. <br />9. 8:00 pm Update Item: Overview of 2024 Interpretive Educational Panels. <br />Presented by Catherine Jepson, Open Space Specialist (15 Minutes) <br />• Catherine explained the size and design of the noxious weed sign <br />and noted that the names of certain plants will be added. <br />• Susan has minor edits that she will share offline. She asked to <br />review future proposed text at an earlier stage. <br />• Andy thinks we should include something that shows how much <br />native grassland has been lost. <br />• Everyone is glad that the illustration of the snake that appears to <br />be attempting to eat the baby Prairie Dogs is going to be removed. <br />10. 8:15 Discussion Item: Acquisition Tiger Team Update. Presented by Michiko <br />Christiansen and Brad Pugh, OSAB Board Members (30 Minutes) <br />• Property CC has a conservation easement so wouldn't be considered <br />for acquisition. It was originally included on the acquisition list to <br />possibly purchase the trail easement and access. Needs to be noted <br />on list and ranking changed. <br />• MM and WW should be considered for purchase. WW is under <br />consideration for future development. Should OSAB submit a memo <br />to council about this property? <br />• D1 and D4 were under consideration for joint purchase in the past but <br />prices were too high. <br />• Should DD be moved higher in the event an opportunity to purchase <br />arises when Avista moves? <br />11. 8:45 pm Discussion Item: Grants Tiger Team Update. Presented by: Jessamine <br />Fitzpatrick and Andy Dorsey, OSAB Board Members (15 Minutes) <br />• Update about CIP funding and applicable grants. Ember says big -ticket <br />items like Grazing and Prairie Dog mitigation are larger dollar items <br />and are funded through 2027. <br />• David suggests looking for partners to join future grant(s) to get larger <br />grants and/or get the grant money more easily. <br />12. 9:00 pm Discussion Item: Wayfinding Map Review. Presented by Ember <br />Brignull, Open Space Superintendent (20 Minutes) <br />• Review of trail sign design and errors.
