<br />Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> January 23, 2006 <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br />sales tax payments. Mr. Fredricksmeyer recommended the Authority dismiss the <br />complaint. The Authority thanked Mr. Khan for coming into compliance and <br />reminded him non-payment of sales tax is an issue taken seriously by the board. <br />Wilson moved the Authority accept Mr. Fredricksmeyer's recommendation and <br />dismiss the complaint. Rommelfanger seconded. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, <br />Rommelfanger - yes, Wilson - yes, Koertje - yes and Mulvahill - yes. Complaint <br />dismissed. <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report - The Back Room -12/8/05 <br />This incident involved the police being dispatched to the hospital on a report of <br />an injured and intoxicated individual. Officer Gordanier reported the officers in <br />this case believe the bartender was being honest about what happened. The <br />Authority concurred there was no further action to be taken against the licensee. <br />However, they did feel there should have been a call to the police department <br />when the patron needed removed from the bar. Questions were raised about <br />writing a letter to the licensee concerning calling the police department. Officer <br />Gordanier volunteered to go by and speak to the owner and the Authority asked <br />her to do so. <br />Secretary's Report <br />A. Local Licensing Authority Dates for 2006 <br />Hanson reported the dates for the Authority are included and will be the fourth <br />Monday of each month. She also noted she had prepared new booklets for the <br />members with the state and local code, bylaws and rules of procedure. She also <br />informed the members Pane e Vino has closed their doors. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />Nothing to report. <br />Authority Comment <br />Officer Gordanier talked about the server/seller training held in November and <br />reported a new training schedule will be completed soon. A comment was made <br />that in the past, there was a problem at the golf course with people bringing their <br />own liquor on the premises. It was noted, the staff at the golf course has taken <br />steps to alleviate the problem. <br />Adjournment - Lipton moved to adjourn at 7:34 p.m. Wilson seconded. All <br />members were in favor.
