<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> June 20, 2006 <br /> Page 2 of 7 <br />Mayor Sisk called for changes to the consent agenda, and hearing none, moved <br />the agenda be approved, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Brown. Approval to Reschedule July 4, 2006 Regular City Council <br /> Meeting to July 5, 2006 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Doug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO addressed the power <br />outage that occurred on Sunday, June 18. He asked Council to require Xcel <br />Energy to provide an explanation for the outage. He requested an ordinance on <br />lighting, which would establish guidelines for exterior lighting. He urged Council <br />to consider green building requirements. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk stated at the June 27,2006 budget meeting, Finance Director Patty <br />Leslie will present the sales tax revenue forecast for the 2007 budget. He <br />reported the US 36 Mayor's Coalition has filed an application for funding for <br />transportation projects. <br />Assistant City Manager Balser worked with representatives from the Cities of <br />Boulder and Broomfield and RTD to file the application. She reported the <br />application was for Stage One Improvements at Table Mesa, which include a <br />pedestrian bridge, ramps, and better access for the buses. This is a $7.0 Million <br />dollar project. The application is for $3.5 Million dollars, and RTD will provide <br />matching funds. <br />Mayor Sisk stated the US 36 Lobbyist reported the Senate Federal <br />Transportation Committee favor funding the US 36 preferred plan. <br />Assistant City Manager Balser reported on the agenda for the Thursday, June <br />22,2006 Louisville Revitalization Commission meeting. <br />Mayor Sisk stated there may be some opportunities next year for economic <br />development along Highway 42 and South Boulder Road. <br /> SPECIAL MEETINGS ON BUDGET SESSIONS DISCUSSION <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney's review of the Home Rule Charter rules <br />regarding special meetings.
