Signs tell us a lot about what is important to
a community and are a common and easily accessible
way for business owners to sell their wares and
promote their businesses. Other times, Louisville
residents have used signs to make a statement and
take a stance. This September, stop by the Library
Gallery to view the Museum's new exhibit and reflect
on how signs have created controversy, brought people
together, and contributed to the identity of Louisville.
Page 8 • Fall 2022
