LCity) <br />Louisville <br />Records Unit ILZ City of <br />The Records Unit is comprised of 3 Records f <br />Louisville <br />Technicians. They manage and process all police COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />reports, public records requests, and case filings for <br />the Boulder County District Attorney's Office and <br />Municipal Prosecutor. They also handle inquiries at the <br />front desk of the PD. <br />In 2024, Records facilitated <br />• 573 public records requests <br />• Body Camera footage, records searches, report requests <br />• 169 background check requests <br />• Processed $5,987.98 in records request payments <br />• handled 2,116 police generated reports. <br />• This does not include all the cases they prepared for the <br />prosecutors' offices. <br />2/25/2025 <br />11 <br />Detective Bureau <br />City./ II:Louisville <br />Cityof Om Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />The Detective Bureau is the major crimes unit of the <br />Police Department. It is comprised of 1 Sergeant and <br />3 Detectives. They handle primarily felony level <br />crimes against persons and property investigations. <br />On average, detectives are each assigned approx. 15 <br />cases per month. In January 2025, Detectives took <br />on 21 total new cases — 14 property crimes and 7 <br />persons crimes, 1 of which is an attempted homicide <br />case which is still under investigation. <br />2/25/2025 <br />12 <br />6 <br />
