RESOLUTION NO. 6 <br />SERIES 2025 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 17.72.190 REGARDING YARD AND <br />BULK REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLANS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville (the "City"), is a Colorado home rule municipal <br />corporation duly organized and existing under laws of the State of Colorado and the City <br />of Louisville Home Rule Charter (the "City Charter"); <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the current standards in Louisville <br />Municipal Code Sec. 17.72.190 are not consistent with the purpose of the Planned <br />Community Zone District (PCZD) and associated General Development Plans (GDPs) to <br />promote contemporary land planning principles and coordinated community design; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to provide more flexibility as part of <br />the GDP approval process to establish yard and bulk standards that are consistent with <br />the City's Comprehensive Plan and the City's desired character for PCZD districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the proposal at a duly <br />noticed public hearing on May 8, 2025, where evidence and testimony were entered into <br />the record. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of an ordinance amending Title <br />17 of the Louisville Municipal Code to regarding yard and bulk requirements for GDPs. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of May, 2025. <br />By: <br />Attest: <br />Cullen Choi, Secretary <br />Planning Commission <br />Steve Brauneis, Chair <br />Planning Commission <br />
