LCityof
Louisville
ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
SUBJECT: BUSINESS SATISFACTION SURVEY
DATE: JUNE 12, 2025
PRESENTED BY: VANESSA ZARATE, CECD, ECONOMIC VITALITY MANAGER
SUMMARY:
The City of Louisville started conducting Business Satisfaction Surveys in 2018,
conducting the survey every two years. The last survey was conducted in 2022 and staff
believes staff and City Council can benefit from conducting another survey to hear from
our business community.
In past years, the satisfaction survey has been conducted through an online survey.
Outreach has occurred through online resources (emails, newsletters, websites, partner
newsletters). In addition, outreach could also occur through mailed postcards to every
business address, a Utility Bill insert sent out during that time frame and personal
outreach.
Economic Vitality staff is interested in hearing from the Economic Vitality Committee on
what types of questions they would like to see on the survey, what kind of information
they are interested in gathering from the business community and additional feedback
on a business satisfaction survey.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Fiscal impact would be determined by outreach needs. There is budget within the
Economic Vitality budget to send out postcards, with the bulk of the outreach being
conducted through various online resources.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends EVC review and provide feedback.
ATTACHMENT(S):
1. 2022 Business Satisfaction Survey
2. 2022 Survey Results
