<br /> '" <br /> , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1 0 <br /> Sel'ies 1984 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is obligated under the <br />Metropolitan Water Development Agreement dated as of July 20, 1982, <br />for 1 per cent of 80 per cent of the cost of the Systemwide Environ- <br />mental Impact Statement relat:Lng to full development of the entire <br />Denver Municipal Water System, and for 1 per cent of 80 per cent of <br />the costs under the Platte and Colorado River Storage Projects Par- <br />ticipation Agreement, to the extent and according to the provisions <br />of said agreement; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the parties to said agreements believe that the <br />Un i t e d States Army Corps of En g :L nee r s should be authorized to rescope <br />said Systemwide Environmental Impact Statement in the manner set <br />forth in attached form of Letter of Intent to study the projects <br />identified in said agreement and elsewhere as Two Forks Reservoir and <br />the Williams Fork Collection System in site-specific detail within a <br />time frame which could allow the issuance of appropriate federal <br />approvals for said specific projects by March, 1986; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is desirable to follow that modified procedure <br />rather than to apply at this t:Lme for necessary federal actions for <br />those projects prior to the in:Ltiation of the site-specific environ- <br />mental evaluation thereof and to reserve decision as to the time for <br />filing such applications; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the aforesaid procedure <br />involving rescoping of the Systemwide Environmental Impact Statement <br />to include the aforesaid site--specific studies and evaluations is <br />hereby approved, and payment of the aforesaid percentage share of <br />additional expenses resulting therefrom is hereby authorized, with <br />site-specific costs associated with the Two Forks Reservoir Project <br />being charged under the Partic:Lpation Agreement for that project and <br />site-specific costs on the Williams Fork Collection System Project <br />being charged and recovered under a future Williams Fork Participa- <br />tion Agreement. <br /> Passed and adopted t h:L s 20th day of March, 1984. <br /> ~$~~ <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~L~m,~~ <br />City Clerk <br />
