Some Louisville residents did move to new developments in Broomfield and around the <br />area, but many longtime Louisville families were able to stay in Louisville as a result of <br />having homes available to buy in Bella Vista. A few of the family names of longtime <br />Louisville families who were early owners of Bella Vista properties were DiCarlo, <br />Ferguson, Kupfner, Martella, Kimmett, Finleon, Rotar, Steinbaugh, Junior, Pol, <br />Domenico, Symanski, Delforge, De Santis, and Lombardi. <br />The following section of a 1962 aerial photo of Louisville looking east shows the Bella <br />Vista neighborhood as it was being developed. (The houses on the right are not part of <br />the subdivision.)
