Call to Order <br />Meeting called to order at 6:30 by Committee Chair, Jody Ash <br />2. Work Plan <br />• Review 2025 and discuss next steps/ topics <br />PPLAB to begin looking at 2026 Work Plan in October <br />• Gene had question about past notice of possible Quasi-judicial discussion <br />coming to PPLAB. Abby replied that PPLAB is part of the approval process, but <br />that nothing had been submitted thus far. <br />• Discussion of Parks funding deficit for 2026 under consideration by City Finance <br />committee. Parks budget support is there at Finance committee, Conservation <br />Trust Fund from State Lotto money is $200,000/yr, which is currently going to the <br />General Fund, but could be transferred in part to Parks? This amount would buy <br />Parks several years in the black! Finance committee has previewed the Parks <br />budget, and discussion is scheduled for July 23, 12 noon to 5 pm. <br />• PPLAB could voice concern for transfer of trust fund dollars to Parks budget by <br />memo or email to City Council. Memo could highlight GMMP from 2023, which <br />3 <br />
