also an early developer in Louisville, and through his marriage to Annetta James (DiGiacomo) had <br />business connections with Nicola DiGiacomo. <br />Dominic Rotolo sold lots 57-70 of block 3 and lots 73-90 of block 4 to Jemima McHugh in 1918. At that <br />time, Jemima McHugh was 51 years old and married to Lawrence McHugh (1859-1921), a coal miner. <br />Jemima Hall McHugh (1867-1953) was of English and Scottish descent. Her family came to the US in <br />1871 and had moved to Louisville by 1880 when she was 13 years old. She married Thomas Jenkins in <br />1886 and they had five children before Thomas passed away in 1892. She married Lawrence McHugh in <br />1893 and they also had five children. It appears that the McHugh family lived at various addresses <br />around Louisville but did not develop the property at 1237 Grant. Lawrence McHugh passed away in <br />1921 and Jemima sold the property in 1922 to Annie Patete. <br />Jenkins/McHugh family outside their house at 1101 Lincoln, c. 1910. <br />Jemima McHugh is on the left. <br />Patete/ D'Agostino/ Hansen Ownership, 1922-2023 <br />In 1922, Annie Patete purchased Lots 81-82 Block 4 from Jemima McHugh. The property would stay in <br />the family for three generations and 100 years until 2023. Anna Lombardi Bartimoccio Patete (1877- <br />1938) was born in Italy and she and her first husband, Michelangelo Bartimoccio (1862-1903), came to <br />the US around 1898. They were living in Louisville by 1900 where they had one daughter — Angelina <br />
