Approval of Minutes • Unanimously approved 5. 6:55 pm Public Hearing: Advent Health GDP Amendment and Land Dedication Review. Presented by Rob Zuccaro, Community Development Director (45 Minutes) • Staff Report 0 • Board Questions o Andy asked Rob for clarification on how the trail from 88th would connect. Ember noted that OSAB reviewed connection in 2018 and supported a plan that ultimately didn't happen due to funding and/or hospital approval. o Andy asks about OSABs purview. Are we weighing in on the dedication of land only or on the development swap more broadly. Rob said he believes based on statute that OSAB is limited to provide input on the land dedication only. o Susan asked if OSAB doesn't approve of the land dedication, will the development swap possibly go through anyway. Rob said "yes" if city council approves the GDP. o Michiko asks for clarification on the color -coded open space properties on the map in Rob's presentation. o Andy asked Rob about possible development on undeveloped land owned by applicant. Rob noted that existing buildings could be demolished and/or repurposed and suggested Andy could direct that question to applicants. o Daniel asked if the city or applicant has discussed how the lower portion of possible land dedication will connect to the bridge to the US 36 bike trail. o Brad and Andy asked questions related to city review of possible future development on the site. Rob said both possibilities would be entirely new and require separate zoning and GDP applications. o Andy asked another question about connecting to the bike path bridge and applicant said it's something that will have to be determined in the future.
