City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 18, 2025 <br />Page 2of3 <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Councilmember Cooperman moved to approve the Finance Committee Minutes from <br />the August 21, 2025 meeting; seconded by Chair Hoefner. <br />Aye: Hoefner, Hamlington, Cooperman <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: None <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None <br />INITIAL 2026 MANAGER FEES DISCUSSION <br />Director Bailey stated that this is the initial discussion of fees that are delegated to the <br />City Manager. <br />During Director Bailey's presentation there was a brief discussion on setting a recurring <br />schedule to look at smaller fees to reduce administrative burden. Director Bailey will <br />follow up with recommendations. <br />MONTHLY REVENUE AND SALES TAX REPORT <br />Sales Tax Accountant / Auditor Zeas provided the committee with updates for July 2025 <br />revenue, sales and use tax collections. <br />Q2 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM REPORT (RECEIVE AND FILE) <br />Chair Hoefner noted this item was received and filed by the committee. <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR UPDATES <br />Director Bailey thanked Council for their support in the renewal of the contract with <br />Chandler; the Deputy Finance Director position is still open; and budget will be <br />discussed at Council on October 21st and November 3rd <br />4/73 <br />
