RESOLUTION NO. 16 SERIES 1998 A RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR QUALITY INN AND SUITES ON LOT 2, CENTENNIAL VALLEY, PARCEL H, FILING NO. 2 WHEREAS, Louisville Hospitality Group, LLC, as applicant for owner HSG Louisville LLC, submitted to the City of Louisville an application for a Final PUD Development Plan for a 34,000 square- foot 73-room hotel to be known as Quality Inn and Suites on Lot 2, Centennial Valley, Parcel H, Filing No. 2; and WHEREAS, City Council has previously approved an overall Final PUD Development Plan for Centennial Valley, Parcel H, Filing No. 2, that defined vehicular and pedestrian circulation, perimeter and entry landscaping, monument signage, use restrictions, and the stormwater detention system, and that required Final PUD development plan approval for each individual lot; and WHEREAS, after two public hearings concerning said Final PUD Development Plan, at which the applicant and interested parties presented testimony and other evidence, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the application submitted by Louisville Hospitality Group, LLC, with conditions; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the proposed Final PUD Development Plan at its March 31, 1998, regular meeting, at which the applicant and several interested parties presented testimony to Council, and at which numerous documents were made a part of the record. NOW, THEREFORE,· BE.ITRESOLVED BY THECITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: 1. Based on the testimony of the witnesses and the documents made a part of the record of the Council's March 31, 1998, meeting, the City Council finds as follows: a. Standard 4.2.C of the City of Louisville Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines (CDDSG), as well as Section 1.8.a of the City of Louisville Gateway Design Guidelines, set the maximum height of all commercial buildings at 35 feet. The applicant's proposed building height does not comply with the 35- foot maximum height requirement.
