RESOLUTION NO. 16 <br />SERIES 1998 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />FOR QUALITY INN AND SUITES ON LOT 2, CENTENNIAL VALLEY, <br /> PARCEL H, FILING NO. 2 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Louisville Hospitality Group, LLC, as applicant for <br />owner HSG Louisville LLC, submitted to the City of Louisville an <br />application for a Final PUD Development Plan for a 34,000 square- <br />foot 73-room hotel to be known as Quality Inn and Suites on Lot 2, <br />Centennial Valley, Parcel H, Filing No. 2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has previously approved an overall Final <br />PUD Development Plan for Centennial Valley, Parcel H, Filing No. 2, <br />that defined vehicular and pedestrian circulation, perimeter and <br />entry landscaping, monument signage, use restrictions, and the <br />stormwater detention system, and that required Final PUD <br />development plan approval for each individual lot; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after two public hearings concerning said Final PUD <br />Development Plan, at which the applicant and interested parties <br />presented testimony and other evidence, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the application submitted by Louisville <br />Hospitality Group, LLC, with conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered the proposed Final PUD <br />Development Plan at its March 31, 1998, regular meeting, at which <br />the applicant and several interested parties presented testimony to <br />Council, and at which numerous documents were made a part of the <br />record. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,· BE.ITRESOLVED BY THECITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> 1. Based on the testimony of the witnesses and the documents <br />made a part of the record of the Council's March 31, 1998, meeting, <br />the City Council finds as follows: <br /> <br /> a. Standard 4.2.C of the City of Louisville Commercial <br />Development Design Standards and Guidelines (CDDSG), as well as <br />Section 1.8.a of the City of Louisville Gateway Design Guidelines, <br />set the maximum height of all commercial buildings at 35 feet. The <br />applicant's proposed building height does not comply with the 35- <br />foot maximum height requirement. <br /> <br /> <br />
