RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br /> SERIES 1998 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br /> A SPECIAL REVIEW USE <br /> FOR LOTS IOA CENTURY OFFICE PARK <br /> (QUIZNO'S) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council by QIS, Inc , a <br />Special Review Use for a Quizno's deli s~yle resu~urant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all materials related to the Special Review Use have been reviewed by City <br />Staff and the Planning Commission and found to be in compliance with the Louisville zoning <br />ordinances, subdivision regulations, and related policies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after a properly advertised public hearing concerning said Special Review <br />Use, the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council conditional approval; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said Special Review Use should be approved, <br />with the following condition: <br /> <br />1. That all sign letters are closed-faced with internal illumination; <br /> <br />2. That the color of the outside returns on the sign letters is revised to be more subdued <br /> subject to Staff review and City Council approval; and <br /> <br />3. That the east facing wall sign is modified to include only the 'Quizno's' portion of what <br /> has been proposed or alternatively that the sign be reduced in size to meet the PUD size <br /> requirement. <br /> <br />4. Prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy to QIS, Inc. the owner shall successfully <br />amend the Final PUD for Lot IOA of Century Office Park to incorporate the following sign <br /> <br />criteria; <br /> a. <br /> <br /> Illumination of all wall mounted signage to be turned off at 9 P.M. daily. <br /> <br />b. Pan channel letters to be mounted directly to the wall surface. <br /> <br />c. Color, letter style, and design of all building sign faces shall be uniform as disclosed <br /> on the PUD utilizing a green plexiglass. <br /> <br />d. Maximum letter height of all signs not to exceed 18" inches. <br /> <br />e. Sign criteria shall address area and number restrictions for window signage. <br /> <br /> <br />
