Award Bid to Bobcat of the Rockies for Toolcat Utility Work Machine <br />No items to report. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Frank Herman, Past Chairperson, CCTV54, 513 S. Harrison Avenue, Lafayette, CO <br />updated Council on the CCTV's activities. For the first six years CCTV operated in a <br />deficit, but in 2010 the operations were split; the CCTV broadcast infrastructure was <br />moved to the Louisville City Hall and the studio moved to partner with Catalyst High <br />School in Lafayette. CCTV receives studio space without cost and in turn they provide <br />training for students interested in videography, internet and content development. This <br />dramatically changed the CCTV's operations and financial stability. CCTV has worked <br />with the Louisville City Departments and engaged with other organizations to further the <br />aims of the residents and the youth. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming report was made under his performance goals quarterly update. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />ORDINANCE No. 1592, SERIES 2011 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2 OF <br />THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER 2.50 REGARDING <br />DISASTER EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS — 2nd Reading — Public Hearing - <br />Request for Continuance of 2 Reading and Public Hearing to 10/4/2011 <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1592, Series 2011. <br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 26, 2011 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />Mayor Sisk explained the Council discussed Ordinance No. 1592 at the April 12 Study <br />Session. Based on those discussions, it is suggested the ordinance be continued to <br />October 4, 2011. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Richard Miller, 1230 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO voiced his concerns relative to <br />some provisions of Ordinance No. 1592, Series 2011.
