Then, it is necessary to exclude roads, fire lanes, etc. and language must be developed to ensure these exclusions. o Obtain Plats, PUD, deeds and other supporting Documentation IX. OSAB Goals and Action Items: a. Review and Update Goals List o Ember generated a new chart. b. Update: GIS Treasure Hunt o Helen, Mike and Ember have met a couple of times. They discussed the different models/types of treasure hunts that are out there. o Now they are developing questions related to the areas they've decided to focus on for this first hunt. • Davidson Mesa/Harper, Aquarius/Adler Fingru and Warembourg are the three that have been selected. The treasure hunt will be able to be completed on each individual open space or you can do all three for a full day hunt. o They are now looking for outside help from people who have been doing this for awhile and get their input. o Spencer brought up the possibility of combining this program with some in -class presentations at local schools. c. Update: Development and Administration of the Open Space Survey o None at this time. d. Update: Education and Community Outreach Subcommittee o Spencer: Looking for 3 more topics for the TV show. • One will be from staff. One could be about weed control. Another could be about the GIS Treasure Hunt. • Tom would volunteer to do one on Coal Creek corridor. • Another idea is to do one on Fishing Frenzy. o Spencer brought up if there is any interest in doing the Street faire. • Everyone agreed to pursue the idea, and it will be discussed more extensively at the next meeting. We will schedule volunteers to man the booth at the next meeting. o DOW will not be participating in the stations at Fishing Frenzy next year, so we will need volunteers.
