Designate Locations to Post Notices of Public Meeting Times & Locations The Board unanimously approved to maintain the following as designated locations to post notices of public meetings: · The Louisville City Hall lobby (749 Main Street) · The Louisville Public Library bulletin board (951 Spruce Street) · The Louisville Recreation & Senior Center (900 Via Appia) · The Louisville Police Department & Municipal Court Building (992 Via Appia) · The City of Louisville Web site B. Schedule of Board Meetings for 2007 After a brief discussion, all members agreed to maintain the current schedule for meetings; that being 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of alternate months, as follows: MAR 15 MAY 17 JUL19 SEP 20 NOV15 C. Goals and Objectives for Upcoming Strategic Plan Discussion on this item is tabled until the 15 March meeting. D. Request for Information Updates Discussion on this item is tabled until the 15 March meeting. 8. Ongoing Business A. Town of Superior's Library Usage As recently publicized in the local newspapers, the Town of Superior is considering an offer to Louisville of $75,000 for library services in 2007. In light of this, the Board was asked to present options for City Council to consider at their 6 February meeting. Due to the complex nature of this issue, the Board unanimously agreed to convene a special meeting for this discussion on 23 January at 7:00 p.m. B. Sikora Art Project This item is moved to the 15 March meeting at which time Joseph Sikora will make a presentation. 9. Director's Report A. Statistics Statistics for 2006 were distributed and reviewed.
