Louisville SustainabilityAdvisory Board Meeting Minutes:Wednesday, May18, 2011 City Hall,749 Main Street, Spruce Room I.Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chair Ted Sontropat 6:30pm. Minutes to be taken by Cullen Choi. II.Roll Call:Cullen ChoiAnnie Members present (in bold):,Mary Ann Heaney, Hughes, Andy JohnsonMark Persichetti; Ted Sontrop; Staff , Arno Laesecke, Liaison Tom Phare: City Council Liaison Dave Clabots;Guests: David Greewald (Transition Louisville), Taren Fox (Monarch High School) . III.Approval of Current-Meeting’s Agenda: The May agenda was approved as-is. IV. Approval of AprilMeeting Minutes: The April minutes were approvedand the March minutes were approved with the minor correction from the April meeting. V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: TarenFox from Monarch High School was present to observe. David Greenwald from Transition Louisville was present to observe. No members of the public were present to comment. VI.LSAB policy on email inclusion for non-member participants: Ted raised the issue ofaprevious discussion about whether to include/exclude a guest from the LSAB emails. Mark discussed that was included during a previous month’s meeting to accommodate the Boulder County visitors. Annie and Andy were in agreement that some visitors would feel left out, so it was agreed that visitors would not be included in email distributions. VII.WebsiteDesign Update: Ted gave a discussion about the capabilities and possibilities of the LSAB website and how it would be integrated into the Louisville City website. It was discussed that the capabilities of the coding software would prevent flash and otheradvanced content. There is a request by Meredithto keep the website format similar to the rest of the City pages, but that the architecture could be fairly layered. Ted discussed that website content will be sent to Meredith on a monthly basis to be updated. Annie presented the idea of incorporating a ConstantContactoption for citizens to self subscribe to a periodic list serve.Ted will be supplying periodic facts and helpful hints to be included.David Greenwald commented that as a citizen, he would love to get a monthly update on Louisville sustainability information. Annie stated that other City boards have similar automatic distribution lists.
