Louisville SustainabilityAdvisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes:Wednesday, May18, 2011 <br />City Hall,749 Main Street, Spruce Room <br />I.Call to Order: <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair Ted Sontropat 6:30pm. <br />Minutes to be taken by Cullen Choi. <br />II.Roll Call:Cullen ChoiAnnie <br />Members present (in bold):,Mary Ann Heaney, <br />Hughes, Andy JohnsonMark Persichetti; Ted Sontrop; Staff <br />, Arno Laesecke, <br />Liaison Tom Phare: City Council Liaison Dave Clabots;Guests: David Greewald <br />(Transition Louisville), Taren Fox (Monarch High School) <br />. <br />III.Approval of Current-Meeting’s Agenda: <br />The May agenda was approved as-is. <br />IV. Approval of AprilMeeting Minutes: <br />The April minutes were approvedand the <br />March minutes were approved with the minor correction from the April meeting. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />TarenFox from Monarch <br />High School was present to observe. David Greenwald from Transition Louisville was <br />present to observe. No members of the public were present to comment. <br />VI.LSAB policy on email inclusion for non-member participants: <br />Ted raised the <br />issue ofaprevious discussion about whether to include/exclude a guest from the LSAB <br />emails. Mark discussed that was included during a previous month’s meeting to <br />accommodate the Boulder County visitors. Annie and Andy were in agreement that <br />some visitors would feel left out, so it was agreed that visitors would not be included in <br />email distributions. <br />VII.WebsiteDesign Update: <br />Ted gave a discussion about the capabilities and <br />possibilities of the LSAB website and how it would be integrated into the Louisville City <br />website. It was discussed that the capabilities of the coding software would prevent <br />flash and otheradvanced content. There is a request by Meredithto keep the website <br />format similar to the rest of the City pages, but that the architecture could be fairly <br />layered. Ted discussed that website content will be sent to Meredith on a monthly basis <br />to be updated. Annie presented the idea of incorporating a ConstantContactoption for <br />citizens to self subscribe to a periodic list serve.Ted will be supplying periodic facts <br />and helpful hints to be included.David Greenwald commented that as a citizen, he <br />would love to get a monthly update on Louisville sustainability information.
