Sec. 8.48.020. License required; Mechanical or electronic amusement device. <br /> Any person, firm, corporation or association displaying or keeping for <br /> operation any mechanical or electronic amusement devices as defined in this chapter <br /> shall be required to obtain a license from the city beginning January 1, 1983. Such <br /> license shall be issued upon payment of a yearly license fee in the amount of $50.00 <br /> as established by resolution of the city council for each amusement device to be used. <br /> Such license must be conspicuously posted upon each mechanical and /or electronic <br /> amusement device. Application for such license shall be made to the city clerk of the <br /> city and shall include the following information: <br /> A. Name, address and age of applicant; <br /> B. A listing of any prior criminal convictions of the applicant; <br /> C. The exact location where the machine or device is to be displayed or <br /> operated and a description of the business conducted at that location in addition to the <br /> mechanical amusement device; <br /> D. A general description of the machine to be covered by the license; <br /> E. Copy of lease or proof of ownership. <br /> Section 22. Section 9.40.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 9.40.050. Application fee; live musical performance. <br /> An application fee of $20.00 shall be due and payable upon the filing of an <br /> application with the city clerk. The fee shall be as established by resolution of the <br /> city council. <br /> Section 23. Section 9.60.010 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows (words to be deleted are shown in str; words to be added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 9.60.010. Failure to return library material. <br /> It is unlawful for any person to fail to return any book, newspaper, magazine, <br /> pamphlet, photograph or any other items or material belonging to the public library of <br /> the city within 30 days after receipt of a written overdue notice requesting the return <br /> of the item or items.
