Resolution No. ~~4, Series 2007 - A Resolution Approving an <br />Agreement with C-COM Affinity Telecom <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Balser requested the Mayor and Council member Muckle update <br />Council on the City Manager recruitment process. Mayor Sisk reported on a conference <br />call with the Prothman Company to narrow the field of applicants to five to eight <br />candidates. An Open House has been scheduled for June 7, where the public can meet <br />the candidates, and on June 8, the Council will conduct interviews. Mayor Sisk and <br />Council member Muckle voiced their appreciation for Prothman's expertise. <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Balser reported the Tuesday, July 3,2007 City Council meeting will <br />be rescheduled to Monday, July 2 due to the 4th of July holiday. <br /> <br />Land Management Director Robson updated Council on the recent high water table at <br />the Coal Creek Golf Course. The Golf Course management is roping off those sections <br />of the course which have been affected. Many home owners have reported using sump <br />pumps in their basements to eliminate water. <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Balser reported on the Agenda Items for the Study Session for <br />Tuesday, May 9 meeting: Council will have a Joint Study Session with the Resource <br />Conservation Advisory Board and the Building Code Board of Appeals to discuss Green <br />Points Building. In addition the Resource Conservation Board would like to discuss Xcel <br />Energy Audits and Rebates for City facilities, and a Single Waste Hauler. She reported <br />part of the supplemental budget appropriation request on tonight's agenda is based on <br />the Town of Superior's $75,000 contribution for library services. The Library will reopen <br />on Sundays on August 12, 2007' pending approval of the supplemental budget. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked the Land Management Department Staff; Scott Robson, and Chris <br />Lichty for a successful Arbor Day celebration. He stated many of the trees donated by <br />residents will provide shade for Community Park. Council member Clabots noted the <br />Horticulture & Forestry Advisory Board members and many residents assisted in <br />planting trees. <br />
