RESOLUTION NO. 62, <br /> • SERIES 2011 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR <br /> EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS ON THE BALL HOUSE LOCATED AT 1117 <br /> JEFFERSON AVENUE. <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council a Preservation and <br /> Restoration Grant for the Ball House, located at 1117 Jefferson Avenue, on property legally <br /> described as Portion of Lots 3 and 5, all of Lot 4, Block 7, Capitol Hill Subdivision, in Louisville, <br /> Colorado; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission have <br /> reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 3.20.605.D of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly noticed <br /> public hearing on the proposed Preservation and Restoration grant application and has <br /> recommended the request be forwarded to the Louisville City Council with a recommendation of <br /> approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed Preservation and <br /> Restoration grant application and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has held a <br /> properly noticed public hearing on the application; and <br /> • WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed improvements will assist in the <br /> preservation of the Ball House, a local historic landmark. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> 1. Approve the attached scope of work for a total grant amount of$12,666 (which <br /> fee includes a $2,111 contingency); and, <br /> 2. This amendment to the original landmark designation does not permit the <br /> applicant to receive the $1,000 and $5,000 incentives from the Historic <br /> Preservation Fund (HPF) as they have already utilized these incentives. <br /> 3. Contingency may not be used unless approved by staff after inspection of <br /> discovery item. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of 2011. <br /> o <br /> Charles L.
