• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 64 <br /> SERIES 2011 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS WITH <br /> BOULDER COUNTY AND THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT FOR <br /> THE LOUISVILLE STATION AREA-HIGHWAY 42 CORRIDOR AND DOWNTOWN <br /> CONNECTION STUDY <br /> WHEREAS, Intergovernmental Agreements have been proposed between the City and <br /> Boulder County and the City and the Regional Transportation District concerning the funding of <br /> a combined study for the downtown Louisville Station Area and State Highway 42 Corridor <br /> (Locke Street to Paschal Drive), which such study shall be used to identify multimodal <br /> connections within the Station Area and to develop a multimodal design and infrastructure <br /> implementation plan for the Corridor; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds that the proposed agreements are in the best interests of <br /> the City and its citizens. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE,COLORADO: <br /> • 1. The proposed Intergovernmental Agreement for . Integrated Infrastructure <br /> Implementation Study (Louisville'Station Area and State Highway•42 Corridor, Locke Street to <br /> Paschal Drive) between the City of Louisville and Boulder County, is hereby approved in <br /> essentially the same form as the copy of such Intergovernmental Agreement accompanying this <br /> Resolution. <br /> 2. The proposed Integrated Implementation Plan for Louisville Station Area Master <br /> Plan (Stamp) and Hwy 42 Corridor (from Locke Street to Paschal) Intergovernmental Agreement <br /> between the City of Louisville and the Regional Transportation District, is hereby approved in <br /> essentially the same form as the copy of such Intergovernmental Agreement accompanying this <br /> Resolution. <br /> 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute the Intergovernmental Agreements on behalf of <br /> the City, except that the Mayor is hereby further granted authority to negotiate and approve such <br /> revisions to said Intergovernmental Agreements as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable <br /> for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental <br /> Agreements are not altered. <br /> 4. The Mayor, City Manager and City Staff are further authorized to do all things <br /> necessary on behalf of the City to perform the obligations of the City under the Intergovernmental <br /> Agreements, and are further authorized to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to <br /> accomplish the terms, conditions and provisions of the Intergovernmental Agreements. <br /> • <br /> 5. The City has estimated the total cost of the combined study described in the <br /> Resolution No. 64, Series 2011 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
