It was his perception the Louisville City officials refused to notify Louisville
residents of their rights and of Comcast obligations under the Cable Customer Service
Standards ordinance. Comcast refused to comply with the Cable Customer Service
Standards ordinance and the City officials refused to enforce the ordinance. He stated
elected officials are accountable to the voters for their actions, but the Louisville City
Officials have adopted a "Code of Silence". He announced he would stand in witness to
the City Council's disrespect for their offices, rule of law, the political process in the City,
the Country and for their constituents, the Louisville citizens.
COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE
AGENDA
No comments.
CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
City Manager Fleming updated Council of the progress of the 2011 (CIP) Capital
Improvement Projects. Many of the projects are complete, some will be completed by
the end of the year and the following two key projects have been delayed: 1) the
• McCaslin and Dillon Intersection Project and 2) the City Shops (City Services Facility)
Project.
