Louisville City Council Meeting <br />May 2, 2000 <br />Page 15 <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 29, Series 2000, A <br />Resolution Approving a Final PUD Development Plan for a Two-Story, 80,000 S.F. <br />Office Building to be Known as Coal Creek Corporate Center II, Lots 1 and 6, Coal <br />Creek Business Park, with conditions 1-2 &4, and with an additional condition that the <br />perimeter parking will not have more than nine consecutive parking spaces in a row and <br />the area will receive additional landscaping, seconded by Levihn. Roll call was taken. <br />Motion passed by a vote of 6-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 30, SERIES 2000 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL <br />PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO CONSTRUCT A SPECULATIVE ONE AND <br />TWO STORY OFFICE/R&D/WAREHOUSE FACILITY, LOT 13, BLOCK 8, <br />CTC FIRST FILING <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant Dennis Payne, DP Construction, <br />is proposing a one and two-story light industrial, research and development building. <br />Wood noted that with the exception of one minor issue related to the location of the <br />access drive off South Taylor, the application is in full compliance with the IDDSG. <br /> <br />With respect to the parking, Wood stated that the ratio is 3.53:1000 in the primary site <br />plan and 2.77:1000 in the alternative plan. Both ratios are within the acceptable range <br />established in the IDDSG. <br /> <br />Wood stated that the landscape plan complies with all IDDSG minimum requirements. <br /> <br />Wood reviewed the site plan and noted that the building is orientated toward the <br />intersection of South Taylor Avenue and Cherry Street. He stated that the building and <br />parking setbacks for CTC First Filing and from the IDDSG have been met. <br /> <br />With regard to the architecture, Wood noted that the buildings are proposed to be <br />constructed of site cast concrete panels. Wood stated that the lighting plan complies with <br />IDDSG requirements. With respect to signage, Wood stated that one typical CTC ground <br />sign is proposed. Wall signs will be subject to both the standards and guidelines of the <br />IDDSG. <br /> <br />Wood noted that the Planning Commission reviewed and approved the application on <br />April 11, 2000, with six conditions.
