Louisville City Council Meeting March 1, 2005 Page 9 of 12 RESOLUTION NO.8, SERIES 2005 - A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2005 BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE NORTHWEST P ARKW A Y FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST - LAND ACQUISITION FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST - LOTTERY FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND WATER & WASTEWATER FUND FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - (advertised Daily Camera 2/26/05) Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. Finance Director Patty Leslie reported Resolution No.8, Series 2005, authorizes a supplemental appropriation to the 2005 budget for projects that were in progress in each of the funds in 2004 but not completed. The supplemental appropriation for each fund is to carryover the encumbrances or commitments for the completion of the scheduled projects. There were no comments. MOTION: Council member Marsella moved for Council approval of Resolution No.8, Series 2005, seconded by Council member Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of7-0. AWARD BID - LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT RENEWAL WITH TRUGREEN LAND CARE Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. Land Management Director Cindy Lair explained in 2004, the City awarded the Landscape Maintenance Services contract to the lowest bidder, TruGreen Landcare. According to the 2004 bid manual, under Term of Agreement, at the end of the season the City will evaluate the contractor's performance and at its discretion, may choose to award 9
