DRCOG Mile-Hi Compact <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Keany requested an update on City boundary markers. City <br />Manager Simmons reported Staff has contacted the Downtown Business <br />Association (DBA) relative to their request for entry signs into the City. He noted <br />the City must ascertain placement of signs on City owned property. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons informed Council that Fastracks has published a new <br />informational brochure. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported that Congress passed a six-year transportation bill in the <br />amount of $296 million dollars. Colorado has the second highest increase <br />allocation for those funds. He also reported that US 36 may receive $35 million <br />dollars from the Tabor Refund bonding ballot question.
