Louisville City Council Meeting <br />November 8, 2000 <br />Page 14. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1353, SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 7 OF THE LOUISVILLE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN <br />STANDARDS PERTAINING THE COMMERCIAL RETAIL & OFFICE SIGN <br />STANDARDS GUIDELINES - 1st reading - set public hearing 12/19/00 <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1353, Series 2000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Ordinance No. 1353, Series 2000 be set out for publication <br />and a public hearing be set for November 21, 2000, seconded by Howard. All in favor. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light requested that Council go into executive session for the purpose <br />of discussing pending litigation. <br /> <br />City Clerk Nancy Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public Statement of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, pertaining to the rules of Executive Session. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council go into executive session to discuss pending <br />litigation with the City Attorney, the City Administrator and Assistant to the City <br />Administrator, seconded by Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a <br />vote of 7-0. The City Council went into executive session at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Davidson reconvened the Council meeting at 9:50 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council direct the City Attorney to prepare a motion for the <br />Public Utilities Commission contesting the jurisdictional rights of the PUC, seconded by <br />Brown. All in favor. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported on the PUC established schedule for consideration of <br />Docket No. 00D-583E. The matter would require a public comment meeting on January <br />17, 2001, at 7:00 p.m., in the Louisville City Council Chambers.
