• <br />Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:OOpm <br />Monday, July 15, 2002 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Matt Jones, Patrick Hornbostel, Heidi Ochis, Wayne Varra, and Cindy Lair (City Staff) <br />Matt Jones called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />Minutes passed without changes. All in favor <br />Recommendations / Motions from the Board <br />1 Hire another natural resources specialist. 4 -0 pass <br />2. Trillium Grading Permit for Northwest Parkway: accept alluvial grading proposal and keep topsoil <br />separated to reuse during reclamation. 4 -0 pass. <br />Matters from the Board (not on agenda) <br />Inventory is at a point where all the board members need to comment. The goal is to have only one <br />more round of changes. <br />• Sales tax extension will be put on the ballot this year <br />Matters from Staff (not on agenda) <br />Cindy Lair stated that erosion issues need to be addressed on Coal Creek trail, near Dillon Road and the <br />golf course. Weeds are also very bad. There needs to be lots of reclamation. <br />Cindy Lair noted that she has funds to hire another person with project management and land <br />management skills. <br />Cindy Lair talked to Rob Teetzel about putting signs on Davidson Mesa (near Ohmeda) to keep people <br />from driving out onto the open space. <br />None <br />Public Comment <br />Matters from the Board (on agenda) <br />Trillium Grading Permit for Northwest Parkway: Want to regrade to create more of an alluvial deposit <br />vs. a direct deposit of run off. Initial plan would have less grading impact but long -term affects will be <br />better for wetlands and surrounding open space with alluvial design. Matt Jones stated that he'd like to <br />keep control of the topsoil so it can be re -used. <br />
