• <br />Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Monday, June 17, 2002 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Pat Hornbostel, Wayne Varra, Bob Muckle, Cary Tengler <br />Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, City. Staff, Scott Robson, Boulder County Staff <br />Pat Hornbostel called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br />Minutes were passed with changes <br />Motions and recommendations made during the Feb 18th meeting <br />. Bob Muckle moved to pass minutes with revisions. Wayne Varra seconded. <br />Motion passed 4 -0. <br />Issues from Board not on the agenda <br />• Cary Tengler asked to have a discussion of dog park issues added to the Item 7 on the <br />• <br />agenda. <br />Bob Muckle raised the issue of placing signs at various points of access on the Davidson <br />Mesa, including at the Ohmeda(sp ?) facility. <br />None <br />Issues from Staff <br />Matters from Public not on the agenda <br />Doug Grinbergs voiced support for dog park space and wanted to board to be aware of <br />the paintball fights on the Lastoka property. Mr. Grinbergs also mentioned several other <br />issues including the use of goats (vs. chemicals) for knapweed control, the possibility of <br />lobbying for aviation control over Louisville open space to reduce noise pollution, <br />controlling light pollution near open space, the desirability of better trail maps with street <br />access, and the possibility of a Louisville Trails project for next year. <br />
