Community Park Update <br />Chris reported that there have been some problems with watering, possibly <br />overwatering by Urban Farmer staff. Some sod has been replaced. Fall aeration <br />is recommended; however no organic amendments will be necessary. <br />Evergreen trees which died have been replaced. Some deciduous trees will be <br />replaced later. <br />VIII. Residential Landscape Design Guidelines <br />No discussion. <br />IX. Development of HFAB web page <br />No report. <br />X. Horticultural and Forestry Advisory Board Award <br />No report. <br />XI. City Council Update <br />• Suggestion was made to prepare a brief update of HFAB activities to be <br />presented at a City Council meeting in the fall. <br />XII. Arboretum Tree I.D. and Xeric Demonstration Garden Plant I.D. Brochure <br />Discussion of design and timeline for Arboretum brochure, which will be <br />distributed at the Rec Center, City Hall, Land Management Office, and the new <br />library. Matt will contact Fred to discuss preliminary design and mockup. <br />XIII. Update on Memory Square Playground Fire and Tree Damage <br />Chris reported that a large American Elm was damaged by the fire, and will <br />require extra water and possible pruning. <br />XIV.
