SUBJECT:ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTUPDATE <br />DATE:DECEMBER 4, 2012 <br />PAGE2OF2 <br />Staff has had an initial meeting with the County Assessor’s office about the TIF revenue <br />projection analysis the LRC conducted. A follow up meeting is being planned to meet <br />with the County’s appraisal department to fine tune value estimations of new projects <br />anticipated in the Urban Renewal Area. <br />Downtown Updates–Businesses are gearing up for the holiday season. WinterSkate is <br />th <br />operational. The Parade of Lights is December 7at 7pm. <br />Business Retention Visits–Staff is following up on concerns gathered from visits of <br />local businesses.
