<br />RESOLUTION NO.1 <br />SERIES 1995 <br /> <br />HONORING AND RECOGNIZING SHARON ASTI-CARANCI FOR HER DISTINGUISHED SERVICE <br />AND SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL AND CITIZENS OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranci has served the citizens of Louisville, Colorado for over twenty-one years as a <br />member of the city staff, for seven years as the Chief Book Keeper, and the last twelve years as the Director of <br />Finance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranci's professionalism and knowledge of the City was recognized by the City <br />Council in their selection of her to serve the City of Louisville as Acting City Administrator from December <br />1989 through June 1990 and June 1994 through December 1994 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranci and the Finance staff distinguished the City of Louisville by receiving the <br />"Distinguished Budget Presentation"from 1990 to 1993; "Certificate of Achievementfor Excellence in <br />Financial Reporting"from 1990 to 1992; and the "Net Worth Award - Excellence in Financial Reporting" in <br />1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranci has made a lasting mark on the Louisville community through her <br />commitment to fiscal responsibility in the preparation of city budgets and her dedication to building and <br />maintaining a strong and healthy local economy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranei worked to insure that the City's budget addressed the continuing and <br />emerging needs of the City of Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranei through her budgeting skills provided the funding for the goals articulated <br />by the City Council, which also met the restrictions of Amendment One for spending and revenue limitations <br />while providing an atmosphere to achieve designated goals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sharon Asti-Caranci's wise investments on behalf of the city has enabled the City of Louisville to <br />maintain its uniqueness, character, and quality of life so <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado that the <br />citizens of the City of Louisville do hereby honor and recognize Sharon Asti-Caranci for her twenty-one years <br />of exemplary and sustained service to our community as a member of the Louisville City Staff. Sharon Asti- <br />Caranci will be greatly missed by all Members of the City Council, staff, and by this community. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, the City Council of the City of Louisville hereby declares Sharon Asti- <br />Caranci to be an Honorary Citizen of the City of Louisville, for now and forever more and further wish Sharon <br />great success and fulfillment in her future endeavors. <br /> <br />PRESENTED THIS 7th day of February, 1995. <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br />
