<br />RESOLUTION NO.4 <br />SERIES 1994 <br /> <br />HONORING AND RECOGNIZING MARGARET HORNBOSTEL <br />FOR HER DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AND SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS <br />TO THE CITY COUNCIL AND CITIZENS OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Hornbostel lias served tile citizens of Louisville for four years as a <br />Member of the Louisville City Council from 1990 to 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Hornbostel served with distinction as Mayor Pro Temfor Louisville City <br />Council from 1990 to 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Hornbostel was instrumental during the Northwest Parkway negotiations <br />and served with distinction at.. the special representative to the Boulder Valley School District, <br />served as a member of the Boulder County Open Space Committee and wa.f the city's liaison <br />for Coal Creek Trails project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Hornbostel is recognizedfor her attention to her constituents' concerns, <br />her examination of the issues and her conviction to speak out on bellalf of what she believes <br />is right and just; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Hornbostel worked to insure that the City provided quality infrastructure <br />improvements, utilities and beautification of tl,e Historical Downtown Project wl,icl, captured <br />tile historic flavor of Louisville Mining Community; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such service has resulted in the continued prosperity of the City of Louisville and <br />has significantly contributed to the enhancement of the quality of life of the citizens. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED by the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado that the citizens of the City of Louisville do lIereby II on or and recognize Margaret <br />Hornbostel for lIer four years of exemplary and sustained service to our community as a <br />member of tile Louisville City Council. Councilwoman Hornbostel will be greatly missed by <br />all Members of the City Council, staff, otller local governments, and by lIer community. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, the City Council of tl,e City of Louisville hereby declares <br />Margaret Hornbostel to be an Honorary Citizen of the City of Louisville, for now andforever <br />more. <br /> <br />PRESENTED THIS 4th day of January, 1994. <br /> <br />~ ~o--- <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
