<br />D. The tap fee for co:mmerci~l NON-RESIDENTIAL uni ts <br />shall be determined by the city and shall be based <br />upon the provisions of the Uniform Plumbing Code <br />then in effect and Table B of Section 13.12.040. <br /> <br />E. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CHAPTER, "RESIDENTIAL <br />UNIT" MEANS A SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING UNIT OR MULTI- <br />FAMILY DWELLING UNITS, INCLUDING CONDOMINIUMS, <br />TOWNHOUSES, AND APARTMENTS; AND "NON-RESIDENTIAL <br />UNIT" MEANS ANY UNIT OTHER THAN A RESIDENTIAL UNIT. <br /> <br />Section 2. Subsection A of Section 13.12.030 is repealed <br />and reenacted to read as follows, and Subsections Band C of <br />Section 13.12.030 are amended to read as follows (words to be <br />deleted are stricken through; words to be added appear in capital <br />letters) : <br /> <br />13.12.030 Tap fee for residential units -- Table A <br /> <br />A. FOR RESIDENTIAL UNITS, A REDUCTION IN THE NUMBER OF <br />FIXTURE UNITS USED, AS SET FORTH IN TABLE 10-1 OF <br />THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, OF UP TO THIRTY PERCENT <br />(30%) MAY BE ALLOWED IN THE REASONABLE DISCRETION <br />OF THE CHIEF BUILDING OFFICIAL UPON SUBMITTAL OF <br />DOCUMENTATION ESTABLISHING THE USE OF LISTED "LOW <br />FLOW" OR ENERGY EFFICIENT PLUMBING FIXTURES. <br /> <br />B. If the applicant for a water tap permit desires a <br />larger size tap than is required by reference to <br />THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND TABLE B T~bleo ~ ~nd <br />B, the fee to be charged shall be the minimum fee <br />for the size tap desired. <br /> <br />C. In the event a consumer desires to provide <br />automatic fire-control protection for his premises <br />and such emergency service only, which requires a <br />tap larger than three-fourths of an inch, the fee <br />charged shall be based only on the demand set forth <br />in THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND NFPA 13D AND NFPA <br />13R T~ble ~ for that item, without regard to the <br />minimum and maximum fees set forth in Table B of <br />Section 13.12.040. Under this provision the user <br />shall be required to pay the full cost of <br />installation of the service, including all pipe, <br />valves and valve boxes. <br /> <br />Section 3. Table B of Subsection A of Section 13.12.040 of <br />the Louisv11le Municipal Code is amended to read as follows (words <br />to be deleted are stricken through; words to be added appear in <br />capital letters): <br /> <br />2 <br />
