He reported the Open Space Advisory Board believes the project is lacking in the connectivity of the regional trail system. Steve Simms, Summit View Professional Park, LLC, was impressed with the overall plan. COUNCIL QUESTIONS Council Member Muckle askE;d Waldman if the Open Space Advisory Board supported the trails within thE: project. Mr. Waldman confirmed the Open Space Advisory Board supports the trail within the project, but feel it lacks connectivity to other trails in the community. Council Member Muckle commended the applicants for their proposal and asked if there will be a sidewalk aloing Highway 42. Mr. Brew responded yes. Council Member Muckle asked if the water from ditches would flood basements. Planning Director Wood responded no. Jason McGrath, J3 Engineering, stated the grading and the buffering between the ditches and the housing units would resolve any flooding issues. Council Member Muckle requested information relative to the fiscal analysis of the project. Andy Knudtsen, (Economic Planning Systems reviewed the Takoda Village PUD Fiscal Impact Analysis. COUNCIL COMMENTS Council Member Marsella also commended the developer for taking the City Council and citizens' input and implementing those comments into their plan. Council Member Clabots reported the Senior Advisory Board also supports patio homes and starter homes.
