Gall to Order -The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm. <br />Roll Gall was taken and the fallowing members were present: <br />City Council: Mayor Sisk and Council Member Sheri Marsella <br />Staff Present: Malcolm Fleming City Manager, Kevin Watson <br />Finance Director, Jodie Ferrero Accounting <br />Manager <br />Absent: Council Member Ran Sackett <br />PUBLIG COMMEIVTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />OPEN ISSUES <br />The September Financial Statements were presented to the Finance <br />Committee. The narrative prepared by the Accounting Manager can be <br />located on the City's website at w~r~~v c,~,lc~i~l~vifl~ c,c~.ta~. <br />The committee expressed interest in seeing comparisons to budget and to <br />the prior year. The Ac~founting Manager explained that readers of the <br />financial statements need to be cautious of comparisons to the prior year <br />due to current year changes in accrual policies, expenditure distribution <br />policies, etc. The Committee agreed to the Finance Director`s request to <br />experiment with new financial statement formats and disclosures. <br />The committee asked staff to confirm whether the City can allocate <br />maintenance costs to the Conservation Trust Fund as presented in the <br />2008 Budget and clarify what contingency plans are appropriate if voters <br />do not approve an extension of the sales tax that supports tha# Fund when <br />the existing sales tax expires in 2012. <br />City Council <br />303.335.4533 (phone) <br />City of Louisville <br />749 Main Street <br />303.335.4?550 (fax) <br />Louisville CO 80027 <br />www. ci.lauisville. cv. us <br />
