City Ccsuncit Finance Gornrrtittee PJleetiny Minutes 1 ~/ij3/o7 Pa~~ 3 of Staff presented new illustrative graphs for sales tax., wilding use tax, auto use tax, and lodging tax revenue. The Committee approved of the new graphs, Mayor Sisk requested an addition shark showing the combination of sales tax, auto use tax, aril lodging tax. Gouncil Member Sackett expressed concern for possible revenue impact to the Golf Course Fund from the widening of Highway 35. Mayer Sisk indicated a desire to have a Use Tax ballot on the next November election. LIST aF BILLS The List of Bills scheduled fo~.~ approval at the Gouncil Meeting scheduled for December 4, 2007 was presented to the Finance GQmmittee, The Committee discussed and!or requested additional information on the following:: • x12,574.25 to Animal and Pest Contra! Specialist for prairie dog removal and thinning. • x100 to Helen Martinez for Fitzone incentive program reimbursement. • $1D0 to Kristine Giewat for Ftzone incentive program reimbursement. • x8,082.23 to Wember, lnc: for projeot0art management at the Library. x81.02 to Aoe Hardware {VISA) • x1.027.02 to Sprint (VISA} far cell phone charges. NC?N~PRt~FIT FUNDING APIPLICATIC}NS A listing of non-profit organizations that have submitted applications for funding frnm the City were presented to the Finance GQmmittee. The 2008 budget includes $20,000 for such contributions, The Finanoe Cor~nrriittee agreed to review the requests and mak+s recommendations at the next Finance GQmmittee Meeting.
