City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> March 19, 2013 <br /> Page 9 of 10 <br /> (Louisville Charter, Section 5-2(c)—Authorized Topics— Consideration of real property <br /> acquisitions and dispositions, only as to appraisals and other value estimates and <br /> strategy, and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a). <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br /> City Attorney Light introduced the City Manager's request for the City Council to <br /> convene an Executive Session for the Purpose of Consideration of Potential Real <br /> Property Acquisition and Disposition — Parcels of Real Property in Louisville <br /> City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public statement from the Louisville Municipal <br /> Code, which governs the discussion topics permitted during an executive session. <br /> City Attorney Light stated the authority for conducting an executive session is the <br /> Louisville Charter, Section 5-2 (c) -Authorized Topics— Consideration of real property <br /> acquisitions and dispositions, only as to appraisals and other value estimates and <br /> strategy, and C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a) under the Colorado Open Meetings Law. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council convene an executive session for the <br /> purpose of consideration of potential real property acquisitions and dispositions but only <br /> as to appraisals, value estimates and strategy and the executive session include the <br /> City Council, City Manager, City Attorney, Economic Development Director, Planning <br /> Director and Deputy City Manager. Council member Jasiak seconded the motion. All <br /> were in favor. <br /> The City Council went into executive session at 8:25 p.m. The City Council reconvened <br /> the regular business meeting at 9:20 p.m. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUED <br /> REPORT— DISCUSSION/DIRECTION/ACTION — REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br /> AND DISPOSITION <br /> City Attorney Light reported in executive session the City Council discussed real <br /> property acquisitions and dispositions but only as to appraisals, value estimates and <br /> strategy. The City Council provided direction to the staff on possible strategies on <br /> potential acquisition and disposition.
