Approval to Caincel October 9, 2007 Special Meeting and <br />Schedule a Special Meeting October 30, 2007 <br />PUBLIC COMMENNTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reported on a meeting where he, Council member Sackett and City <br />Manager Fleming met with representatives from the Rocky Mountain Airport to <br />discuss aviation noise issues. The City's Web Page has an Airport Hotline <br />telephone number for residents 1:o call and report noise disturbances. He <br />explained the FAA governs alirports. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming introduced the City's new Finance Director Kevin Watson. <br />The City Manager reported on the following items: <br />• At Council's request, ~~taff has prepared a draft of a noise ordinance, <br />which will be reviewed by the Police, Planning and Public Works <br />Departments before it is presented to Council. <br />• One of the pond liners at the Coal Creek Golf Course has a leak and the <br />City is in the process of repairing it. <br />• The positive feedback on the business retention visits from the business <br />community. <br />• The City Staff Benefits Committee will report to the City Manager on their <br />recommendations for City employees' benefits. <br />• City Manager Fleming will attend an ICMA conference in Pittsburg. He will <br />be out of the office from Saturday, October 6, through Wednesday, <br />October 10. Assistant Ciity Manager Balser will be Acting City Manager <br />during his absence. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />SENIOR REBATE <br />
