He emphasized thE: importance of getting away from accusations <br />and just asking the citizens to consider the facts. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown stated thE; Preserve Louisville Issue Group does not <br />publish their membership on i:heir Web Page. He voiced his support of <br />Resolution No. 52 and stressed the importance of Council explaining the <br />significance of the Cooperation Agreement between the City Council and the <br />LRC. He felt the financial future of the City of Louisville is at stake and stressed <br />the importance of getting the facts out to the public. He accepted Mayor Sisk's <br />suggestion to modify the language in the Resolution and also offered <br />modifications. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Susan Morris, 939 W. Maple Court, Louisville, CO reiterated how inappropriate it <br />is for Council to take a position against a citizen's initiative. <br />John Leary, 1116 LaFarge Avenue, Louisville, CO stated it is inappropriate for <br />the City Council to speak withiout time constraints when the citizens are limited to <br />three minutes. <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO asked Council to <br />advise the citizens of their position on Ballot Issue 2A. <br />Don Atwood, 298 S. Taft Court, Louisville, CO noted he is one of the proponents <br />of the citizen's initiative. He Explained the initiative does not state the City <br />Council has relinquished all financial, planning and other control of potential <br />development in the urban renewal development area. <br />Eva Kosinsky, 1301 Jackson Court, Louisville, CO asked Council why a <br />resolution is needed when thc: City Council members have already made their <br />positions known to the residents. <br />Ty Gee, 253 Hoover Court, Louisville, CO stated he might have misspoken on <br />the Louisville Moving Forward Group requesting the Resolution. He explained <br />the membership of the Preserve Louisville Advocacy Group contains no <br />members of the City Council. <br />Bonnie McCormick, 1301 Lin~;,oln Avenue, Louisville, CO stated the Government <br />is only as good as the people. She stressed the people have to be allowed to <br />vote on this issue. <br />Matt Jones, 265 Dahlia Drive, Louisville, CO stated the issue is divisive and <br />stressed the importance of workiing through this issue. <br />
