He also requested Council consider whether a <br />Council liaison appointment to the Open Space Advisory Board would be <br />advantageous. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No items to report. <br />OATHS OF OFFICES -MUNICIPAL JUDGES <br />City Clerk Varra swore in Municipal Court Judge Joss. Judge Joss swore in <br />Deputy Judges Mertes and Davis. The Judges expressed their appreciation for <br />their appointments. <br />City Attorney Light, Water Attorney Hill and City Prosecutor Staab were sworn in <br />after the Council meeting by Judge Joss. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Councilor Sackett inquired about the temporary orange fences along Highway <br />42. Public Works Director Phare stated it might be work performed along the <br />Lastoka Open Space trail, but he will further investigate and report back to <br />Council. <br />Councilor Sackett stated he appreciated the democratic system and admired <br />those who choose to serve. <br />
