Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 19, 2013 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br /> <br />Stewart stated he appreciated their research and is looking forward to hearing more <br />from the general contractor as to what all will be involved in the future redevelopment <br />plans. He requested a sketch of the proposed work. <br />Fasick stated she had a concern about relocating the structure and then landmarking it. <br />Stewart stated he believed local funding could be used, especially if the structure were <br />relocated to the same site. <br />Fasick stated she is excited for this project because it shows our outreach efforts <br />appear to be working. <br />John Leary stated he believes landmark funds can only be used for street view and not <br />an alley view. <br />La Grave stated the review of 623 Garfield had an interesting social history because it <br />had been relocated at one point as well. <br />Update on Alteration Certificates – none <br />Discussion/Comments on Planning Department Referrals - none <br />Updates – none <br />Items from Staff - none <br />Items from Commission Members – <br />La Grave stated the financial review was incredibly helpful and he wanted to make sure <br />it happens more frequently. <br />Discussion items for Next Meeting <br />Annual Goals. <br />Presentation from the State for the CLG program. <br />John Griffin asked to have a discussion in September for a 6:30 p.m. start date. <br />Adjourn <br />Stewart made a motion to adjourn. <br />La Grave seconded the motion. <br />Adjournment was at 9:50 p.m. <br />
